Established in 2014 after Dad was diagnosed with cancer, Sue set out to minimise as much of the chemicals and artificially created items in the home as possible. After sharing products with friends and family, people quickly started asking if she had ‘some of this stuff’ or ‘that stuff for..’ - and so Suzy’s Stuff was born.
Perfect for those with sensitive skin and eczema, for babies and families alike.

Who We Are
Our vision for The Little Boutique is to bring you high quality, handmade, keepsake items using the most natural materials we're able to source, without blowing your budget! We're a Mum and Daughter team, Sue and Lauren, who dreamed up the idea of being able to do what we love, while living a simple life on our small lifestyle block.
And so Little Boutique was born in early 2017.

Each one of our items is lovingly made by hand, meaning you truly have a one of a kind piece when you support and purchase from us. We love creating customised and create truly bespoke handmade jewellery, children's clothing and accessories and health and beauty products.
We aim to achieve high end pieces that will last, at an affordable price point.

Ethically Produced Merino
Merino is a word synonymous with New Zealand, and proudly New Zealand we are!
​
We choose to support local NZ suppliers and to purchase premium quality merino fabric that is ethically produced, and which follows strict guidelines throughout the entire manufacturing process to ensure its environmental responsibility and the use of sustainable processes.

We've love using Merino as one of our primary fabrics as it is such a versatile, luxurious textile. It is naturally breathable, insulating, temperature-regulating, stretchy and moisture-wicking. Although it is thinner than regular wool, it is milder, more adaptable and is very durable as a result of its quality and natural flexibility.
​
One of the reasons that merino wool is so popular is its warmth relative to weight. The fabric naturally traps heat very efficiently between its fibers, making it warmer than a synthetic fabric of the same weight. But it's also good in the heat as merino regulates your body temperature really well.
For this reason, we sell our Merino Turbans and Headwraps year round.

One of the common concerns people have is whether Merino items will be itchy or irritate the skin.
Merino wool doesn't have this problem, as the fibers of the fabric are much finer than traditional wool garments. This means it's an ideal option for even those with the most sensitive skin.
​
Our Turbans have become very popular with people undergoing Chemotherapy, experiencing Hair Loss or Alopecia as they are incredibly soft and non-irritating, in addition to being a stylish and warm option.
